Monday
Our first day on the island. Awaking in Mallaig, after travelling up the day before, we hitched a ride to Arisaig to catch the boat and were very fortunate to see whales on the way over.

Tuesday
A very lazy morning followed by a walk in the afternoon to the Laig Gorge.

Wednesday
An ambitious plan to walk over the Gruelins and then tour the Lochens around the Sgurr was somewhat curtailed when heavy rain stopped play.

Thursday
Another wet and windy day. This time we didn't make any plans really, had a short walk down to the harbour in the morning, followed by a very lazy afternoon indoors.

Friday
Determined as I was, we (well mainly I) swam in the sea around lunchtime, and then spent the rest of the afternoon wandering over the ridge above Cleadale.

Saturday
Already time to go home again, sadly. Although for a while it looked like we might not make it...
