The Hermit's Cave
One of the more curious natural features of the island, the hermit's cave, can actually be quite hard to find. The easiest method is probably to start from behind Ty Capel, and follow Lord Newborough's path up the mountain (i.e. with Ty Capel behind you and the mountain in front, go right) for a little way until a smaller path forks off to the right where a large white rock is on the left hand side. Following this path a little way should get you to the cave opening, as pictured here.
It is in fact possible to get some way inside the cave, for those not too worried about mud and spiders, as demonstrated here. Whether or not you'd actually want to sleep the night there, however, is another matter.
